ASquared Tutoring started from a simple frustration: too many bright students were struggling not because they lacked ability, but because they'd been taught to memorize formulas without ever understanding where they came from.
After a decade of one-on-one tutoring, I've learned that every student who's "bad at math" usually just has one or two specific gaps in their understanding — and once those are found and fixed, everything clicks. That's what I do.
My goal isn't to get you through the next test. It's to find exactly where your understanding breaks down, address that directly, and leave you with an intuition for the subject that actually sticks — long after the exam is over.

Every session starts with understanding where you're at. I ask questions, find the exact gaps in your knowledge, and address those directly — rather than teaching the same material the same way and hoping it sticks this time.
There's no such thing as a stupid question in my sessions. If something isn't clicking, we slow down, look at it from a different angle, and keep at it until it does. Every student learns at their own pace and that's completely fine.
I don't want you to memorize formulas — I want you to understand them so deeply that you could derive them yourself. That kind of intuitive understanding is what makes the difference between a student who panics on an exam and one who thinks clearly under pressure.
I encourage students to ask "why" at every step, not just accept what they're told.
Understanding takes time. I'd rather you truly grasp one concept than rush through five.
