What subjects does Aric tutor?

Math from elementary school (Grade 1 and up) through Grade 12, and select 2nd-year university courses. Also high school and 1st-year university Chemistry and Physics. Not sure if your specific course is covered? Just reach out and ask.

Are sessions one-on-one or group?

Regular tutoring sessions are one-on-one only. Group sessions are available exclusively for exam prep — see the exam prep question below for details.

Is the first session free?

Yes. The first session is free — no commitment required. It's a chance tomeet, figure out where you're at, and see if we're a good fit.

How long is a typical session?

Sessions are either 1 or 2 hours depending on what works best for you.

Where do sessions take place?

All in-person sessions are held at the Essex County Library, LaSalle Branch.

What are the rates?

  • Elementary school (Grade 1–8): $40/hr
  • High school (Grade 9–12): $45/hr
  • University: $50/hr
  • Exam prep group sessions: $30/hr per person (up to 3 students)
  • Do you offer exam prep?

    Yes. Before exams, group prep sessions are available at $30/hr per person for up to 3 students. Students are encouraged to come with specific topics or questions they want covered — if not, example problems will be available to choose from.
